Rick's is a local, family-owned and operated business that thrives on our excellent reputation. Many of our customers have been with us from the very beginning, in 1984! Rick's has been at the same location since day one (30 South 900 West) in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Our Process

Cleaning & Preparation

Proper prep-work is essential to the longevity of any coating. We remove oil and grease, as well as surface impurities prior to any application. Effective process cleaning and pretreatment is vital to the powder coating process.

Application & Curing

Powder coating is a finish that is applied as powder, electrostatically. The powder is sprayed through a positively charged paint gun, using compressed air, applied to a negatively grounded part, which is then cured in an industrial oven. Results are a hard, durable - tougher than conventional paint finish!

Completion & Packaging

Every item that leaves our facility is packaged using various material to ensure the highest possible protection. Depending on your product, we have numerous options. All is possible, depending on your need!
